Brenna Fitzgerald is an electric & acoustic violinist and fiddle player, vocalist, guitarist, utility player. Currently based in the Nashville, TN area. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia. Brenna graduated from Penn State University in State College, PA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, string emphasis. Fitzgerald began studying classical violin at age seven, and has performed with ensembles ranging from orchestras and choirs to rock bands. She is influenced by every genre of music from classic rock and country to classical music. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Music at the University of Memphis.
In 2006, she had the opportunity to perform with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter from the group Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA, and with John Wetton from Asia/King Crimson (as a member of the School of Rock All-Stars) at various venues in the PA/NY/NJ area.
