Brenna Fitzgerald graduated in 2010 from Penn State University in State College, PA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, string emphasis. Fitzgerald began studying classical violin at age seven, and has performed with ensembles ranging from orchestras and choirs to rock bands.  She is influenced by every genre of music from classic rock and country to classical music.

As a member of the band Leaving Cash, she sings and plays drums, guitar, and keys. In the past few years Leaving Cash has performed on Philadelphia's NBC 10! Show, 93.3 FM WMMR, 93.7 FM WSTW, and 105.9 FM State College.  In the summer of 2005, after Leaving Cash won a band competition, she joined the Paul Green School of Rock. That September, she auditioned and joined the PGSOR All-Stars, as a drummer, and was given the opportunity to perform at some of the most well-known venues in the country, such as the Knitting Factory in New York City, the House of Blues in Chicago, and the State Theatre in Virginia. In March 2006, Brenna had the opportunity to perform at the Fender 60th Anniversary celebration at the Tempe Music Festival in Arizona, with the All-Stars.  In June 2006, she had the opportunity to perform with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter from the group Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, PA.

Four years ago she began to study piano as part of the music education requirement. She now writes the majority of her songs on piano, as well as guitar.  She recently finished her first solo CD, writing and recording every song and instrument.

In October 2010, Brenna was selected as one of six finalists in the BOSS Loop Station National Championship.  The competition was held in Los Angeles, CA at the Musicians Institute.  The judges included: Andy Summers (the Police), Frank Gambale (Chick Corea), Jude Gold, Paul Youngblood, Derrick Murdock, and Michael Molenda.

In November 2010, she won a Fender Stratocaster, for placing 1st in the Steve Winwood "Can't Find My Way Home" world-wide cover contest.  The legendary Mr. Winwood selected 3 finalists, after viewing all of the entries in the contest.

During the first week of December 2010, Brenna had the opportunity and privilege of shooting a video for the new Boss RC-30 Loop Station.  The product is an upgrade to the RC-20xl Loop Station, with a lot of new features and capabilities. In mid-December, Brenna was the runner up in the Acoustic Guitar category of the Winter Namm Cover Band 2011 Contest.  The video submitted was a cover of "Crazy on You" by Heart.  As the runner up, she won a Takamine EF341SC Acoustic Electric guitar.

In February 2011, Brenna released her first solo CD, writing, recording, and orchestrating every song and instrument.  The ten track CD, titled "Relative to C," features Matt Radomile on the electric lead guitar solos.  Available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.

Brenna is currently writing and recording her 2nd album.
